The long-awaited Hugh Newell Jacobsen LIFE Magazine Dream House 2.0 plans are now available for pre-order!

Washington, D.C. — The Herring Bay Holding Company announced that it has released the LIFE Magazine Hugh Newell Jacobsen Dream House 2.0 architectural plans. Designed in 1998 by the world-renowned architect Hugh Newell Jacobsen, this Dream House became one of the most popular and best-selling house plans available to the public since Frank Lloyd Wright’s design for the same magazine years before.

“For years, Dream House enthusiasts have anxiously awaited the release of the 2.0 plans,” said Simon Jacobsen, Managing Partner of Jacobsen Architecture, LLC. “The Dream House 2.0 plans will undoubtedly enthrall, exhilarate and indubitably satisfy the appetites of current and potential Dream House customers. Dream House enthusiasts tell us they cannot wait to pre-order their customized version of the Dream House 2.0 plans.”

Since the closing of LIFE Magazine, Herring Bay Holding Company is the first and only licensee that is authorized to sell the Dream House 2.0 plans, specifications, and supporting materials. Herring Bay Holding Company offers Dream House 2.0 purchasers several customizable options, including three different types of exteriors, construction plans and details, elevations, sections, and much more.

“Dream House purchasers will instantly recognize Hugh’s iconic and timeless style encapsulated within the 2.0 plans. Hugh Newell Jacobsen once said ‘it is our art that has an opportunity to leave a footprint in the sand.’ The Dream House is Hugh’s indelible footprint,” said Simon Jacobsen.

The Dream House 2.0 plans are being released for pre-order at the introductory price of $3,000.00. Any changes and/or updates made to the Dream House 2.0 plans were first verified, authorized and designed by Hugh Newell Jacobsen, F.A.I.A. and his company, Jacobsen Architecture, LLC.
